Trav Traveller
Trav was a farewell present from our friends from Australia before we started our world trip. He was part of the journey and actually visited all the places. That was the reason we chose him as an icon for this page. We are not really blog writers and therefore we have decided to build this blog more like a simple useful guide or memory storage than a storytelling action blog. Anyway we hope it can help you to plan you holidays or travels or inspire you to travel more. Because more you travel, more you experience, more you learn and more you understand.

Family Trav
On the road I have met many families travelling with kids and that time i told to myself -it's easy. Now having kids, I would change it to it -it's possible. It can be awesome but you need to be ready to make a lot of compromises and plans changes and most importantly don't be to ambitious. Sometimes one small pebble beats all the see sights of the world.

My travelling started with typical holidays with my parents to Croatia, Greece, Spain or Italy. The first bigger trip I did when doing Erasmus in Portugal. But just when I moved to Australia the real travelling started :)

4 weeks, 2 kids (four and two years old), one tent and one Volkswagen California . Before we decides to go for this trip we have spent 5 weeks camping around Veneto, Italy. We thought it’s gonna be much harder and complicated and stressful for kids but the opposite was true. It was much more fun, either for kids and for us. The constant changing of environment didn’t allow them to get bored and we finally had a chance to see something for yourselves as well. South Africa is like an entrance gate to the rest of the continent. Its easy to travel around, if you are healthy careful it is pretty safe and even though they do have 11 local languages along with African you can easily survive with English. South Africa has everything to offer even for a demanding traveler. From Mountains to beaches, diving to safaris, grasslands to hills, greenery to townships all interwoven with the local culture and good wine 🙂 At the beginning we were struggling to find accommodation, specially when we wanted to camp, because for safety reason most of the accommodation is not marked or we come across fancy expensive lodges. But then, one day, we stayed in a hostel in Drakensberg and get copy of Coast to Coast guidebook and happily moved from place to place camping or hosteling depending on the night frosting. Talking about travelling in America, mostly people imagine big cities like NY, Miami or Los Angeles. Not forgetting Las Vegas of course. Yes, there are fun and interesting and worthy to visit, but to really enjoy the freedom of travelling you need to visit the National Parks of the West Coast. India is a country full of contrasts. You love it or you hate it, there is nothing in between. One day in India counts as weeks in another country. are we gonna be sold?? Just a 17h train from Delhi and we arrived in Jaisalmer. 47 degrees weren’t the best welcome but who cares. What is the best thing to do in such a heat, of course Desert Safari.
